THE STAFF AT Optometric Associates

Connie is passionate about her career in the optical field. She completed an internship in 1994 that developed into a technician role with Dr. Wolfram Andrews, first working with him at another location. She loves her New Holland community and was excited to join the OA family in 2008 as both a technician and insurance claims processor.  Since January 2018, Connie has been finding great fulfillment in her role as Practice Administrator. One of the aspects she finds most rewarding is recognizing the strengths of each team member and using those strengths to create the framework needed to provide individualized, 5-star care to each patient.  In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, curling up with a good book,  mentoring, and spending time with her family and dog.

Matt is proud to be the Director of Optical Services at Optometric Associates. He truly enjoys caring for people and loves being part of a team that provides the very best care possible for all of our patients. In addition to ocular medicine, Matt is also passionate about all things music and is the Worship Pastor at his church. In his spare time, he is often found going on new adventures with his wife and children.

Amy has been a part of our OA family since January 2022, bringing over 20 years of exerperience in the healthcare field. She is passionate in caring for others and finds great joy in helping others succeed. In her free time, she enjoys photography, spending time with family, and traveling. 

Jennifer began her career in the optical field in 2014, achieving ABO Certification in 2019. Joining the Optometric Associates family in 2021, she brings a desire to help patients and a passion for optical. In her free time, she enjoys musicals, supporting local cafes, and spending time with her husband and their daughters.

Amanda joined the team in December 2022, bringing 10 years of experience in healthcare including emergency medicine, dermatology, and geriatrics. Amanda enjoys working alongside our doctors while learning about the field of Optometry. She especially enjoys the days that include pediatric patients! Outside of OA, Amanda enjoys spending time outdoors and with her family and friends. 

Ashtyn joined the practice as a temporary employer in 2022 to complete a scan project and transitioned into her fulltime role as ophthalmic technician. She is a wonderful addition to the team and loves working alongside the doctors to provide excellent care to patients. Outside of the office, Ashtyn loves a good book and spending time with her boyfriend, family, friends, and of course her dogs and cat!

Max joined the team in June of 2023 as an ophthalmic technician, bringing healthcare experience from past clinical internships. He is currently studying Kinesiology at The Pennsylvania State University, Berks campus, and plans to become a physical therapist. Max has a passion for addressing patient needs in a way that is both efficient and enjoyable. In his free time, Max enjoys weightlifting, playing socer, and spending time with friends and family. 

Judy is very happy to be part of the staff at Optometric Associates. She started out as an apprentice optician in 1983 but quickly came to realize that contact lenses, rather than spectacles, were of greater interest.  In 1986, she passed the NCLE exam and has maintained the certification not only by attending lectures and classes but also by participating in giving lectures and classes at many industry conferences nationally as well as internationally. 

After retiring from Lancaster Contact Lens Inc., she is happy to consult, perform technical duties, and be a friendly face to our patients.  It is her desire to pass on the legacy of specialty contact lens care to another generation of practitioners and technicians.

Traveling to Virginia, Maine, and Colorado to visit children and grandchildren, golfing, and getting together with good friends over a meal are what bring happiness at this stage of life. Cooking and sewing rank high also.  Judy and her husband are active members of a local church, and faith and family come first in their lives. 

Nancy joined the OA family in September 2022 after working in various healthcare positions over the years. She has enjoyed learning about the field of optometry as well as the many treatment options we provide. Nancy is part of our wonderful front desk team; she especially enjoys enthusiastically greeting patients and making all feel welcomed. Nancy loves visiting her family in New York and Pennsylvania, curling up with a good book (with her sweet dog, Buddy, on her lap of course), and being surrounded by nature every chance she gets!

Holly is thrilled to be a part of our team! She joined us in January 2023 with over 20 years of experience as an optician. She lives in Lampeter and has 3 amazing daughters in college and high school. She loves interacting with patients and learning to know the people and culture of the New Holland Community. 

Colleen joined the Optometric Associates family in 1999 and has enjoyed meeting many different people during her career of more than 25 years as an optician. Colleen has been married for over 40 years, a mother of two and the Grandmother of four. She loves spending time with her family! Colleen has impeccable style and feels that the best part of her job is when she can help a patient feel good about their “new” look!

Jennifer is grateful to be part of the OA team, joining us in 2023 with many years of opticianry experience. She is passionate about all aspects of optometric care, acheiving American Board of Opticianry certification in 2018 as well as becoming a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant in 2023.  She is most energized by helping patients choose products that will enhance their vision and their style! Jennifer enjoys staying active, as well as spending time with her husband and 3 children, especially attending their various sporting events at the high school and college level. 

Sarah comes to our practice with a background in healthcare, specifically in geriatrics. You will find Sarah in patient reception, as a technician, and even leading contact lens training sessions for patients. She is passionate about providing a welcoming environment and loves meeting new people. Outside of work, she enjoys serving on the worship team at her church, musicals, puppies, and spending quality time with husband; Ryan.

Jonathan hails originally from New York and Delaware with over 12 years of experience in the optical industry along with history as an EMT and a 911 dispatcher. He thrives in his role as an optician and also expertly edges lenses in our optical lab. Outside of OA, he enjoys spending time with his daughter and also performing magic for anyone who wants to watch!

Kendall joined the Vision Development Center team in 2014, bringing a background in healthcare. She enjoys educating the public about the life enhancing benefits of vision therapy, and is especially passionate about coaching parents as their children adjust to the processes of vision therapy. During the spring and summer months, Kendall can often be found relaxing on the lake with her two daughters and family, enjoying boating and water sports. She also enjoys dining out and exploring new cuisine. 

Amanda began her career in vision therapy with the Vision Development Center team in 2016, bringing several years of experience in healthcare. Her greatest joy as a vision therapist  comes from witnessing firsthand the transformation that has taken place at the end of their therapy program and hearing about the new activities patients are able to now enjoy. She finds great fulfillment in educating each patient throughout their individual process of vision therapy. In her free time, you can find her outdoors tending her garding, finding quiet time to enjoy crafting, catching a good movie, and exploring life with her two sons. 

Hallie joined our team in January 2025, bringing over 5 years of experience in the medical field, most recently in veterinary medicine. With a genuine passion for helping others, she enjoys taking on new opportunities to make a positive impact. Hallie brings both creativity and an enthusiastic attitude to everything she does. Outside of work, she enjoys tackling renovation projects with her husband, crafting, and cherishing quality time with her animals and family.

After two of her children began vision therapy in 2019, Corinna joined the therapy team at Vision Development Center of Lancaster. Since then, all of her children have completed the therapy. Bringing with her the experience of homeschooling and raising five children, she is passionate about educating the public on the benefits of vision therapy, a niche profession often overlooked by mainstream healthcare.  Witnessing firsthand the transformative effects of vision therapy on her family, she is eager to share her insights both as a therapist and a parent. One of her greatest joys is seeing the progress in each patient she works with. In her spare time, you can often find Corinna tending her vegatable garden, managing endless loads of laundry, and preparing meals for her family. She also enjoys sewing and crafting with her daughters, cherishing moments with her husband, and spending quality time with family. 

Heather joined our staff in 2024 as our Social Media Director. When she is not taking photos at the office and forcing the staff to join in her social media antics, she can be found utilizing her Masters in Social Work degree, working in the mental health field. She resides with her husband, two children, and two dogs and loves spending time outside with them, traveling to see her family in Florida, or sitting on the couch with a good book. 

Tyler joined the team in March 2024 as part of the medical records staff and, with a passion for learning, has grown into the role of lab technician. He has quickly become our go-to person for various office projects, providing IT support, and assisting with facility care. With an eye for detail and precision, he is often found in our in-house lab, edging and inspecting lenses. In his free time, Tyler enjoys gaming experimenting with electronics, and taking on new challenges.  

William has extensive background of being photogenic. He serves on our team as a Corporate Model on behalf of Optometric Associates. Born in February of 2022, William enjoys being just like his daddy, Dr. Jonathan Andrews. In his spare time he enjoys practicing his golf swing, "fixin' stuff", and being the best big brother to his little sister, Mia.
